I mentioned in the article that I wrote for Home Gain that Wal-Mart was going to begin selling iPhones before the end of the year. That did come to fruition as Wal-Mart had major advertisements across the US for the 8 GB model selling for $197.00 beginning on December 28th. What's interesting is that there was wide spread speculation prior to this about Wal-Mart getting a special version of the iPhone that would sell below $100.00 Wal-Mart did not get this, however on December 29th, $99 iPhones were being offered by AT&T, not Wal-Mart.
